At this stage in life, we've found ourselves in conversation with, or just observing, some friends, who seem to be questioning everything about their life choices. The only answer seems to be to take control and LIVE! The music is based on a VERY old riff, recorded on our old digital recorder - It finally has a home.

Has a wife and kids, you never had a plan
just follow the main chance, whenever you can
but life’s not been so bad, working for the Man

You are angry and confused – got a feeling you’ve been used
and you’ve lost your sense of self, feel you’ve been left on the shelf
Your wife’s embrace is cold – suddenly she seems so old
not the girl from way back when, no you won’t see that face again
and your kids should all be grown, but they can’t seem to leave home
This generation’s lost and you’re left to count the cost
The future should be bright – you really thought you’d done it right

Has woken from a trance – he wants another chance
Is this all life has to give? Why can’t you live and live and live?!
Another place, another wife, a completely different life
You just want an empty page, in a better, brighter age
But responsibility has a hold, won’t set you free
and in your heart there’s even more – there’s a love you can’t ignore
Every age will bring its fears – You feel you’re running out of years
